Google to Use Wind Power at Oklahome Data Center

We have previously documented Apple’s use of solar power at its North Carolina data center and now it is Google’s turn. The Oklahoma based data center for the search giant has negotiated a deal to supply it with 48MW of wind energy from Apex’s Canadian Hills Wind Project. The wind project will be online in late 2012, so Google will be using power from Grand River Dam Authority until then – Engadget
