Windows 8 – First Impressions

Microsoft conducts a press event for Windows 8 this morning in Barcelona. There is a consumer preview available for download. The specs for Windows 8 are 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM for the 32 bit version and 2GB for the 64 bit version. Here are some first impressions – Engadget

Virgin Galactic Expects Powered Flight Test Within Year

Virgin Galactic plans its first powered flight test within a year. The flight test would enable Virgin to put its SpaceShipTwo in to a 300,000 ft high single revolution orbit. If this goes successfully, customer flights (Virgin has 500 pre-sold seats already) could begin in 2014, – SlashGear
